Optometric Technician
Job type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour, with potential for more based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Spring Hill Eyecare is looking for a full-time Optometric Technician to join our growing, fast-paced private practice. We have been serving the Spring Hill community since 2005 and are proud to build lasting relationships with our patients through exceptional care, advanced technology, and a supportive team environment.
This role is a great fit for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, comfortable learning new technology, and excited to help patients have a positive experience from the moment they begin their appointment.

What you’ll do
As an Optometric Technician, you’ll assist our optometrists with exams and appointments to help the office run smoothly and efficiently. This position includes a variety of patient care, testing, documentation, and administrative responsibilities.
Optometric Technicians play a key role in helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident throughout their visit.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional clinical patient care
- Creating a phenomenal service experience for every patient
- Gathering medical history and chief complaints
- Preparing patient charts and maintaining confidentiality of all records
- Performing preliminary and special testing for the optometrist
- Assisting patients with contact lens insertion and removal
- Supporting office administrative duties as needed
